What is your first swimming memory?
Ulmstead Mighty Ducks, 5 years old
My first race was a 25 freestyle. During the event, I stopped halfway through, took off my goggles, and waved at my parents in the crowd.
I always biked myself to practice already dressed in the proper attire: board shorts, goggles on my head, towel around my neck, and crocks - of course. I always had fun and made lifetime friends.

What has been your favorite moment on TIDE?
My most memorable moment on TIDE, so far, has been the 2018 Futures meet. Specifically, the 4x100 medley relay. My relay was seeded 2nd to last, but that wasn't going to stop us from getting a medal. Being the last race of the entire meet, season, and even career for one of our teammates, we only had one thought: win. During the race, the energy was so high, we all split best times. In the end, we won our heat and placed second overall, but the vibe was so emotional and powerful for some, and tears were definitely shed.

What are your plans for Fall 2020 and beyond?
I will be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I will be swimming there. Beyond college, I would like to join the Navy, wherein the job description is to travel the world.

Love to win OR Hate to lose?
Definitely hate to lose

Off the pool deck - what are your favorite activities?
Ultimate frisbee, gaming, going to the beach

What is something unique about you that most people might not already know?
I lived in Italy for 3 years. I've traveled to over 20 countries and 200+ cities.
