What is your first swimming memory?
My first swimming memory was when I swam Rec league at Great Neck Rec and we were the Marlins. I was for sure not one of the fastest on my team but I truly enjoyed the feeling of getting up on the blocks and racing. I was around 7 or 8 years old when I did Rec League and continued on to do Summer League.

What has been your favorite moment on TIDE?
My favorite moment on TIDE was the 2019 ISCA team travel meet in Florida. Although I hurt my elbow the second day of the meet it was such an unforgettable experience; our team truly felt like a family and we all thrived off each other. During this meet Sam Tadder also got her 400 IM Trials cut and words may never describe the excitement and pure happiness of the moment when she touched the wall and tears of joy ran down my face. This meet was so much more than a swim meet and I'll never forget it.

What are your plans for Fall 2021 and beyond?
My plans for Fall 2021 are to attend the University of Cincinnati where I'll be swimming for the next 4 years. I plan to major in Business Management and hopefully take a year after college or at some point to travel.

Love to win OR hate to lose?
Love to win even though it doesn't happen often. I would for sure say I hate to lose.

What advice would you give to younger TIDE teammates?
My advice to younger TIDE teammates would be to honestly just enjoy the journey while it lasts. You grow old so fast and you will remember these experiences forever. It's all worth it in the end and the memories are unforgettable.

What will you miss the most about TIDE?
What I will truly miss most about TIDE is the relationships I've formed. TIDE has always been so much more than a swim team, it's my second family. I've met some of my lifelong friends who have been there for me through it all, and we can't forget the coaches who have seen me cry more than anyone. This team has been one of the biggest parts of my life growing up.
